Simple design minimizes maintenance
The system consists of the fewest parts , fits any standard AAR-approved truck and can use 1-1/2 or 2-inch brake shoes. Simplified installation and the most uniform shoe wear in the industry helps TMB-60 extend the mean time between car maintenance intervals.

TMB-60 can be installed in any configuration with complete flexibility in cylinder positioning and without changing any parts. Brake heads can be replaced without truck disassembly. The hand brake connects using a mechanical chain or a cable.
